The National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (“NAICU”) will be hosting virtually its 2021 Annual Meeting & Advocacy Day. NAICU is the only national organization solely focused on representing private, nonprofit higher education on public policy issues in Washington, D.C. since 1976.
Natasha Baker will be speaking on the “Evolving Risks in Higher Ed Creating Fear in Insurance Market”. The panel will discuss the evolution of risk on a college campus, along with growing and inconsistent regulation has dramatically impacted the insurance industry’s view of higher education. They will also look at how sexual misconduct, regulatory burden, cyber-attacks, the pandemic and growing monetary settlements have influenced the availability and cost of insurance coverages.
