Intersection of Title IX, SB493, and FEHA

Upcoming Events

This live and interactive Zoom training session will be led by Jesse Andrews, PHR, Natasha Baker, Esq, and Heather Fuchs, Esq.

This training session will navigate the ways in which federal and state regulations addressing sex-based discrimination and harassment overlap… and the ways in which they do not. We will review the individual requirements under the 2020 Title IX Regulations, California Senate Bill 493, and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA); consider common scenarios that implicate these requirements; and discuss practical strategies for implementing compliant policies. We will briefly highlight areas in which Title IX requirements are predicted to change based on the 2022 Proposed Regulations and how that will impact your organization’s obligations. This training is intended for anyone who is responsible for implementing your organization’s policies related to investigating, hearing, deciding, and/or administering remedial measures for sex-based discrimination and harassment. Sign up now, spaces are limited.
